Drag Queen Calendar 2026

Regnbågsfonden works to defend LGBTQ+ rights by funding professional organizations and projects in countries where rainbow communities face discrimination, persecution, and even lethal violence. The foundation also engages in public advocacy in Sweden, often in partnership with other groups.

Creating a drag queen calendar has been a creative journey filled with color, imagination, and a strong sense of community. Our aim is for each month to offer its own artistic take on drag. A clear tribute to bravery, creativity, and the playful freedom of exploring identity and expression. To add an extra layer of symbolism and visual impact, every month is tied to a specific color theme. The exception is August, where Babsan represents the full spectrum of the rainbow. All images are shot in Stockholm, letting the city’s energy and diversity become part of the story.

The calendar’s visual style is shaped by designer and stylist Peter Englund. His creations turn every spread into a piece of art in its own right. With a long career in fashion and performance, he has crafted costumes and looks that do more than dress the models. They carry narratives of freedom, courage, and joyful extravagance.

Photographer Anna Vinterfall captures the project through a lens that balances raw presence with elegance. For years she has portrayed artists, culture, and people in motion, and here she brings the vision to life in images that feel both immediate and timeless.

We want the calendar to be more than wall décor. Our hope is that it also inspires companies and organizations to recognize the value of diversity and inclusion. The sponsors behind the project make it possible, and looking ahead we want to build even larger collaborations and welcome more partners who want to contribute.
