Hagfors Pride, Sweden, 6th of September 2025

Hagfors Pride started in 2019 and is a local Pride festival with a focus on community, openness and everyone's equal value.

The festival revolves around a pride parade through central Hagfors that ends in Blinkenbergsparken, where there are usually speeches, live music and activities for both adults and children.

The event is run in collaboration between local actors such as the municipality, associations and the Church of Sweden. The aim is to create a safe and inclusive place where everyone can be themselves and love whoever they want, regardless of whether they live in a smaller town or a larger city.

Hagfors Pride has quickly become a recurring tradition and an important meeting place for visibility and respect.
