Border Pride, Haparanda, Sweden, Torneå and Kemi, Finland - 7th-13th of September 2026

Border Pride is a cross-border pride festival organized annually in Haparanda in Sweden and Tornio and Kemi in Finland. The festival raises issues of visibility, community and the equal value of all across national borders.

A central feature is the pride parade that runs between Haparanda and Tornio, symbolizing cooperation and community beyond borders. The event creates meeting places where people from both countries come together for culture, conversation and celebration of LGBT rights.
