Halmstad Pride is a pride festival in Halmstad that raises issues of visibility, community and human rights. The festival brings people together in the city center and contributes to a vibrant and inclusive city center.

What can be confirmed is that the initiative was taken in 2014 when local RFSU and RFSL associations formed the Halmstad Pride association. The first Pride parade was held in May 2015 and attracted around 2 000 participants. The event is celebrated annually in Norre Katts Park and has been developed with, among other things, Pride Park with exhibitors, stage programs and activities. The festival is organized in collaboration with actors such as Halmstad municipality, HFAB and HEM.
