Intersex awarness day is featured every year on October 26th.

Intersexualism is a collective term for various medical states where one's body can not be gendered according to society's gender norms.

There are several intersex variations, and they look very different. Having an intersex variation is a congenital condition that has one's physical body to do. in which sex chromosomes, gonads (testicles or ovaries) or genital development are atypical.

"Inter" means "between" in Latin
"Sexus" means "gender"

Intersexual is then translated to "between the sexes".
As an intersexual, you can be a man or woman or something else and it does not matter if a person's sexual orientation.
