Säffle Pride, Sweden - 13th of September 2025

Säffle Pride is a pride festival in Säffle that raises issues of visibility, community and the equal value of all. The festival was created as a local initiative to open up the community and make room for LGBTQ people and allies.

What can be confirmed is that the first Pride Festival was held on July 25, 2015. The event was organized by young people from the cultural association Promotorerna, with support from Säffle municipality and others. The parade gathered between 1,000 and 1,500 participants and went between Furuskogsparken and Kanalparken, making it the largest pride parade in Värmland at the time.
