Ulricehamn Pride, Sweden - 2nd - 9th of September 2023

Ulricehamn Pride was organized for the first time in 2019 and became part of the Pride movement in Sjuhärad. The festival is run in collaboration between RFSL Sjuhärad, study associations, the municipality and local actors.

The initiative welcomed everyone who stands up for equal rights for all and created a meeting place for both celebration and discussion.

The festival is described as norm-critical and inclusive, with a focus on solidarity and strengthening the work for equality in the local community.

The program usually includes various activities such as lectures, culture, meeting places and sometimes a pride parade, depending on the year. Since its inception, Ulricehamn Pride has been an important local platform for visibility, knowledge and community.
