Västerås Pride, Sweden - 25th-27th of June 2026

Västerås Pride is a pride festival in Västerås that raises issues of visibility, community and the equal value of all. The festival is organized annually and has become an important meeting place for LGBTQ people and allies in the region.

What can be confirmed is that the work started with a motion in the summer of 2012. After a decision in April 2013, the planning could take off, and the first pride festival was organized the same year. The non-profit association Västerås Pride was formed later in the fall of 2015 and is now responsible for the event.
